ACE Charity Golf Tournament

benefitting 

The First Tee of Greater Seattle 

 

 

 

 

It is the generous support of you all that has made this fourth year the most successful ever, raising $70,250 for youth golf & life skills programs through The First Tee of Greater Seattle!

 

Having now raised over $170,000 in four years, and at a cost of $200 per child in program fees, the ACE Charity Golf Tournament has secured scholarships for more than 850 young people to participate with The First Tee in King County.

 

Now in its fourth year, the ACE Charity Golf Tournament has become a significant source of support for The First Tee of Greater Seattle, making it possible for hundreds of young people to participate in the program on full or partial scholarship, and have access to character education programs through the game of golf. Many of these children would not otherwise have this opportunity.

 

The First Tee of Greater Seattle uses golf to teach our youth life lessons and leadership skills. The programs at The First Tee help young people build confidence, develop respect, and appreciate the value of giving back to our community; all while learning the lifelong sport of golf.  Our youth become good golfers and even better people!

 

The Nine Core Values they emphasize are:  Honest, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perserverance, Courtesy and Judgment.  Through golf and these core values, kids and teens will learn life skills like:

 

• Making proper introductions
• Managing emotions
• Resolving conflicts
• Setting up step by step goals
• Planning for their future
• Appreciating diversity

 

Kids and teens are our future so we are thrilled to support The First Tee to help shape our youth and build a better community in the Seattle area.
